Feng Zha — Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Head Coach

Feng Zha brings more than 20 years of international high-performance coaching experience to his role as Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Head Coach at Gymnastics Mississauga.

Feng began gymnastics at the age of five and was selected to join the Shandong Provincial Team in 1994. Following his retirement as an athlete in 2000, he immediately transitioned into coaching and has since developed elite MAG athletes of various ages and competitive levels around the world.

His international coaching career has taken him to China (2000–2006), Qatar (2007–2009), Singapore (2010–2011), the Saudi Arabian National Team (2011–2012), the Thailand National Team (2013–2018), and Canada (2018–present).

Throughout his distinguished career, Feng has coached athletes at numerous prestigious international competitions, including:

  • World Championships: Singapore (2015), Japan (2011), Belgium (2013), Montreal (2017), and Jakarta (2025)
  • European Cup: Szombathely (2012)
  • Asian Championships: Hiroshima (2015) and Bangkok (2017)
  • Junior Asian Championships: Uzbekistan (2014) — Vault Gold and fourth place on Floor
  • Junior Future Cup: Austria (2025)
  • Arab Games: Qatar (2011) — Floor Gold
  • Gulf Championship: Kuwait (2012) — All-Around Silver
  • SEA Games: Singapore (2015) — Team Silver, Pommel Horse Gold, Parallel Bars Silver, and Rings Bronze
  • SEA Games: Kuala Lumpur (2017) — Team Bronze, Floor Bronze, Pommel Horse Bronze, Parallel Bars Bronze, and fourth place on Rings
  • Singapore Open (2016) — All-Around Champion; Gold on Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, and Parallel Bars; Bronze on High Bar
  • ASEAN Schools Games: Bangkok (2016) — Gold on Floor and Vault; Silver on Rings
  • Hong Kong International Invitational (2017) — Floor Gold, Vault Bronze, and fifth place on Rings
  • Asian Championships: Bangkok (2017) — fifth place on Vault and eighth place on Floor

Feng’s extensive international experience, technical expertise, and commitment to athlete development make him an invaluable leader of Gymnastics Mississauga’s MAG program. He is dedicated to helping each gymnast build strong fundamentals, confidence, discipline, and the skills needed to reach their full potential.

Gymnastics Mississauga is a not-for-profit organization that has been in operation since 1969. Our club offers programs for boys and girls from introductory levels, all the way up to and including international competitors.
