Gymnastics Fitness Conditioning Class Open Class FALL 2018
Gymnastics Fitness Conditioning Class FALL 2018 is for adults and teens (14+) of any level who would like to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination in a challenging and safe way. No experience necessary!
This Open class will focus on building basic gymnastic skills that martial artists and stuntmen can incorporate into their art forms. A variety of acrobatic skills from karate and taekwando trick kicks, to chinese wushu jumping techniques are also taught and practiced in a safe and effective way starting with easy progressions. There will be no combat in this class.
This is a great opportunity for Moms, Dads and all other adults who’d normally be sitting in the viewing area to show our youth that trying new things is fun and being physically active is an essential ingredient to a balanced life.
Monday: September 24th to December 17th Time: 7:00am - 8:00am
Tuesday: September 25th to December 4th Time: 8:00pm - 9:00pm
Friday: September 28th to December 14th Time: 7:00am - 8:00am
Time: 7:00am - 8:00am
Cost: $210.00 for 14 classes or $20.00 pay as you go.
Coach Nathan Lam is a graduate of George Brown Colleges Fitness and Lifestyle management program, I have over 15 years of experience under his belt as a personal trainer and fitness consultant. His passion growing up was always in fitness, gymnastics and also the art of Chinese martial arts, where he was on the Canadian wushu team for a decade and also qualified for the Olympic team when wushu was an exhibition sport in 2008.
He specializes in rehabilitation, core training along with sports conditioning and flexibility and also a full level 2 Men Artistic Gymnastics and trampoline coach with over 8 years of coaching experience at the recreational level.
